(CLICK PICTURE TO LISTEN TO SERMON)
 A FEW VERSES FOR THE PREACHER. (Please, note that this is a command)

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken ca
ptive by him at his will.

Would you say that your ministry and the manner in which you preach is marked with GENTLENESS? PATIENCE? MEEKNESS? If not, you're probably not seeing a lot of souls recovered from the snare of the devil! It isn't enough to just go into the highways and hedges. The Great Commission wasn't just a cool suggestion designed to free us from the spiritual guilt of sitting idle. The purpose for going into the highways and hedges is to fill God's house with souls (Lu 14:23). The purpose of the Great Commission is to "teach", or to "make disciples" of all nations (Mt 28:19-20). I don't think our problem is so much WHAT we're preaching as it is HOW we're preaching. Pr 11:30 tells us: "...he that winneth (or taketh) souls is wise." Let us pray for wisdom! Let us pray for wisdom!
